PLAITED ROPE HALTERS Made from the same high quality cotton rope that we use in our traditional halters this range has been developed for that slightly more (unusual ) style. All these halters are hand plaited and can be made to your individual requirements. Both the halters with a plaited nose and the fully plaited halter can be made either adjustable or with the traditional fixed nose front. When ordering please speci fy the breed and age of the horse if a fixed nose is required, or alternatively supply a measurement for the nose front. A chunkier plait can be achieved by using a heavier rope. ROPE WITH PLAITED NOSE FRONT
FULLY PLAITED HALTER These halters are hand plaited from multiple strands of 2mm pure white cotton rope. Using this fine a rope produces a more detailed and flatter plait
than that associated with the usual plait made from unravelling a
12mm rope. It means that more variety is available with smaller For comparison a plait made from 6 strands of an unravelled 12mm rope is of approximately the same width as our 10 strand plait. For added refinement it is also possible to have the nose wider than the head. Please call for a price.
