Wide range of bridles

A selection of hand cut and hand stitched bridlework made using only top grade English tanned backs for durability and quality second to none. Fittings are stainless steel as standard or we can supply bridles with Walsall cast brass fittings if preferred. Cheek ends may have either billett, buckle, clip to bit or loop. Billet fittings will be supplied unless specified otherwise.

Bridle prices are structured to cheek weights with noseband and browband widths being adjusted to balance.

For those seeking something a little more refined we also offer a made to measure and design service in addition to supplying bridles in the traditional manner with bits sewn in.

Bridles are available in black, Havana, chestnut, antique tan and London tan. Other colours are also available to special order.
Bridles are priced excluding reins to allow for easy selection of your choice from those on the following pages.
Bridles are supplied with a caveson noseband as standard, if a different noseband is required please telephone for a quote.

Bridles

All bridles are available in standard sizes of Shetland, Pony, Cob, Full Size, Hunter and Draft.
We can also provide a made to measure and design service.
We hold numerous patterns for bridles not listed or can offer a full design service for that individual touch.
These bridles come with a caverson noseband as standard. A flash noseband can also be provided.

Leather reins

A selection of handstitched reins to complement our bridles. The length of the rein is with the billet fastened. Supplied with traditional billet fittings to the bit, but buckle or clip to bit can be provided if required. Please note with rubber grip reins the width is that of the leather not the rubber grip. If replacing existing reins you will normally find a size on the rubber grip. This is the width you need to order. For durability the grips on rubber grip reins are EQUUS. If you require a size or style not specified pleas e telephone for a quote.

Hand stitched from first grade Sedgewick's hides. Breastplates are priced excluding martingale attachments.

Suede Show Pads

Suede show pads available in chestnut, havanna or black. Specially designed to show off ridden Shetlands. Suede throughout for extra grip for both rider and on the pony. Almost straight cut to show of the shoulder and with small knee rolls for rider security. Long girth straps made from first grade Sedgewick’s bridle hide keep the girth buckle away from the riders leg for added comfort.

For added saddle security use with our special ‘Sure Grip girth’ dressage girth made with stainless steel roller buckles for ease of adjustment. Available in black, brown or white, all with a black special breathable sure grip lining.

Stirrup Leathers Straps

A selection of quality leathers all supplied with stainless steel buckles for durability. The leather leathers are hand stitched for strength. The comfy straps allow for only a single thickness of strapping under the leg.

Girths

Introducing our suregrip girth. Available in black or brown with a soft black breathable lining and stainless steel roller buckles. Helps to prevent movement of the saddle without having to girth up too tightly. A full range of leather girths are also available. The small pony girth has short stainless steel buckles for less bulk behind the elbow.
